Important Notice to Swimming Pool Purchasers
New York State law requires swimming pools to comply with applicable safety requirements, which may include
barriers, fencing, gates, pool alarms and other safety measures. Compliance with these requirements may
result in additional costs to the purchaser.
Swimming pool requirements may vary by municipality and property. Before installation, contact your local
building or code enforcement office to determine all applicable permit, zoning, barrier, fencing, gate, alarm,
electrical and other requirements.
