Whether you want a compact one-person unit tucked into a spare corner or a four-person model built for shared use, we walk you through every step. Our five locations across Western New York put expert guidance close to Lockport, so you can see, touch, and understand the craftsmanship before you commit.

Traditional, Infrared, and Hybrid Heat

Tylo builds three distinct heat experiences, and each serves a different purpose. Traditional saunas use handcrafted heaters to warm the air and the stones, producing the deep, enveloping heat that Scandinavian bathing culture is known for. Infrared saunas, like the Kiruna collection, use radiant panels to warm your body directly at lower air temperatures, which many people find easier to tolerate for longer sessions. Hybrid saunas give you both methods in one cabin, letting you switch between styles on any given day.

The Kiruna infrared line starts with the Kiruna 1, a single-person unit measuring 38 inches deep by 39 inches wide by 78 inches tall, running on a standard 120V / 15 Amp circuit. The Kiruna 2 seats two, and the Kiruna 3 seats three on a 120V / 20 Amp supply. These plug into common household power, which makes installation straightforward for many Lockport homes.

Choosing the Right Collection and Size

Each Tylo collection carries its own character. When you visit Pool Mart, we help you narrow the field based on seating, footprint, and power requirements. Here is how the traditional and hybrid ranges break down:

• Kiruna Hybrid Collection: The Hybrid 2 seats two at 51″D x 51″W x 81″H with a Sense Mini heater. The Hybrid 3 seats three, features wraparound seating and a Sense Bliss 6 heater on 240V / 25 Amp.
• Halmstad Collection: Available in 2, 3, and 4 person models, the Halmstad line ranges from a 120V Sense Mini setup to a 240V / 25 Amp Sense Bliss 6 heater with wraparound seating on the Halmstad 4.
• Reflection Collection: The Reflection 3 and Reflection 4 use the Crown 8 heater on 240V / 35 Amp, measuring up to 79″D x 89″W x 87″H for larger installations.
• Lulea Collection: The largest cabins we offer, the Lulea 3 and Lulea 4 use the Sense Bliss 8 heater on 240V / 35 Amp, with the Lulea 4 adding wraparound seating in a 100-inch-wide cabin.

Higher-amp models such as the Reflection and Lulea lines need a dedicated 240V circuit, so we recommend planning for a licensed electrician. The compact Kiruna and smaller Halmstad units run on standard 120V power, which keeps setup simple. Our staff at Pool Mart reviews these specifications with you so there are no surprises on installation day.

Smart Control With the Tylo Sauna App

Modern innovation sits at the center of every Tylo sauna. With the Tylo Sauna App, you control temperature, light therapy, and session duration from your phone. Preheat your cabin on the drive home from work, dim the lighting for an evening wind-down, or set a timed session that matches your training recovery schedule. This level of control turns a fixed appliance into a flexible wellness tool that adapts to your habits.

The heaters themselves are handcrafted, and the cabins carry heritage-inspired accessories and custom lighting. These touches reflect the traditional Swedish craftsmanship that has defined Tylo for three-quarters of a century, now paired with technology that fits a connected home.

Everyday Uses for Your Home Sauna

A home sauna earns its space through daily use. Athletes and weekend warriors around Lockport use infrared and traditional heat to ease sore muscles after training. Others build a short session into a morning routine to feel alert, or into an evening ritual to sleep better. Couples share the Halmstad 2, while families gather in the wraparound seating of the Lulea 4 or Reflection 4.

Because the Kiruna infrared units run on standard household power, they fit smaller footprints and second-floor rooms that larger cabins cannot reach. Come see the full range at Pool Mart, and let our team help you bring the best in-home sauna experience to your Lockport home.
